Bobcat of the Rockies - Henderson is seeking a Field Service Technician! We offer competitive pay, over two weeks of paid time off after 60 days of employment, and numerous opportunities for advancement. Monday-Friday work week/ Day Shift

Guaranteed Hourly Wage Position - No More Flat Rate! $28-45/hour, negotiable based on experience.

Responsibilities
  • Perform inspections required to determine cause of failure following established guidelines and identify the cause.
  • Effectively repair machine components in the field, maintaining high quality standards.
  • Recondition and repair equipment and components.
  • Plan methods and sequence of performing assigned repairs.
  • Pre-order all parts and materials required to perform assigned repairs.
  • Perform the repairs in a safe and effective manner.
  • Ensure all repairs are completed as assigned and cosmetic appearance meets standards.
  • Maintain the work area in a clean and safe condition.
  • Maintain accurate working records for time, parts, supplies, and outside purchases in repairs.
  • Ensure all records are legible and comply with established methods.
  • Report all record keeping daily from the field, even when not returning daily to the company.
  • Maintain shop tools, equipment and vehicles.
  • Maintain personal appearance in a professional and neat condition. Wear all required personal protective equipment and encourage others to do so.
  • Communicate with customers and co-workers in a manner reflecting respect and integrity.
Qualifications
  • 3-5 years working as an equipment technician.
  • Ability to work independently without direct supervision in a field environment.
  • Contribute to a spirit of teamwork and cooperation with parts personnel and other service technicians.
  • A technical school certificate or equivalent experience in mechanical repairs is preferred. High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
  • Prior experience as a field service technician preferred.
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen.
Physical Requirements
  • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate construction equipment.
  • Occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull 50-100 pounds and/or frequently lift, carry, push, or pull 20-50 pounds and/or continuously lift, carry, push, or pull 10-20 pounds.
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, grasp or pull, and lift objects. Occasionally required to sit, climb, and balance, kneel, stoop, crouch, and crawl.
  • Consistently exposed to outside weather conditions, fumes, and loud noise.
