Pipe Fitter

RK Industries is seeking experienced Pipe Fitters to join our team in Henderson, CO. This role supports our high-precision prefabrication projects and offers competitive pay, per diem, and a robust benefits package.

Interpret complex isometric drawings, spool sheets, and blueprints for accurate pipe layout and fitting

Perform tack welding and pipe assembly for prefabrication projects

Use tools including grinders, bevellers, tape measures, squares, and center finders

Collaborate with welders and QA inspectors to meet dimensional and quality standards

Adhere to all shop safety standards and PPE requirements

Maintain a clean, organised work area in accordance with RK’s 6S practices

Take direction from supervisors and apply feedback constructively

Assist in mentoring less experienced team members

Maintain quality craftsmanship while supporting project deadlines

3+ years of pipe fitting experience in a fabrication shop or industrial setting

Proficient in tacking, layout, and fitting

Familiar with welding on rotators and associated fitting practices

Knowledge of metallurgy and welding techniques

Able to pass GMAW-MC pipe tacking test (post-hire)

Skilled in using pipe trade tools (two-hole pins, wraps, angle finders, etc.)

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Independent and able to resolve issues with good judgement

Work in varied environments: indoor, outdoor, dusty, noisy, and elevated areas

Must be able to lift/move up to 50 lbs

Ability to climb, kneel, crouch, balance, and work in confined spaces

Tolerate all weather conditions while wearing PPE
