Full‑time position, 42.5 hours per week within the store opening hours, Monday to Sunday, 6:00 am‑11:00 pm. Opening, closing and weekend shifts will be expected. Working hours and shift patterns can be discussed in interview.

Reporting to the Assistant Manager and/or Store Manager, you will help lead the store team to provide a shopping experience that exceeds customers’ expectations and positively impacts the local community.

• Work alongside the Assistant Manager and/or Store Manager to set and enforce store policies, standards and practices.
• Take responsibility for the store in the absence of other leaders (includes keyholder responsibility).
• Serve as a positive role model and represent our values of Ambition, Customer First, Teamwork and Integrity.
• Train, manage workload and support the team, ensuring resources are in the right place at the right time to deliver the best customer experience.
• Support the Store Manager to maximise store performance, including implementing the store plan and priorities.
• Actively promote and participate in initiatives that support the local community.
• Cover the Post Office when required as part of the role.

Joining us as Team Leader, you’ll need:

• Be aged 18 years or over and have prior retail experience of at least 6 months at a supervisory level leading a team in a customer‑focused environment.
• Possess excellent listening, interaction and communication skills with customers and team members.
• Be target‑driven and focused on continuous improvement to help the store achieve its business plans and priorities.
• Inspire everyone to do their best for each other and the customer.
