• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for each patient.
• Oversee nursing and other staff care for the unit/shift.
• Communicate and collaborate with other departments to coordinate care.
• Document care and changes in patient condition; take remedial actions when needed.
• Serve as Charge Nurse when assigned.
• Educate patients and caregivers on tests, procedures, treatments, and medications.
• Attend interdisciplinary conferences representing the department.
• Implement emergency response during crisis situations in the absence of senior management.
• Provide a minimum of two in‑services annually.
• Identify and implement training needs for nurse development.

• Valid RN license required by state regulations.
• Current RN license appropriate to the state.
• CPR certification (ACLS preferred).
• CRRN® certification required.
• Two years of inpatient hospital experience preferred.
• Inpatient rehabilitation experience preferred.
