NURSING STUDENT APPRENTICE MS TELE IV (PER DIEM VARIED)

Eligible nursing students who are currently enrolled in an accredited nursing program and have completed at least the first semester will serve as a nurse apprentice under the supervision of licensed nursing staff. This is a per‑demand, variable‑hours position that supports patients with therapeutic needs guided by state nursing standards and the Nevada Nurse Practice Act.

• Perform patient care activities, assessment, and therapeutic interventions as instructed by licensed nurses.
• Assist in entering documentation and maintaining records in compliance with state and hospital policies.
• Maintain up‑to‑date competency chart and provide it to supervising manager.
• Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to deliver patient‑appropriate services.

  First semester or more of an accredited nursing program.
• License/Certification:
  Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

  Must be able to submit competency check‑off list and maintain current competencies.
