Material Handler
Responsible for receiving Raw Materials into the plant and the return of Raw Materials to the warehouses.
- Receive Raw Material inventory into the plant.
- Work with the Raw Material Coordinator to communicate the movement of Raw Materials within the plant to the production lines and machines.
- Monitor the movement of Raw Material inventory from the hallway to the production floor.
- Responsible for coordinating the return of any unused Raw Material inventory to the warehouses.
- Interact with production Machine Operators to insure production lines are running smooth and all inventory needs are met.
- Must have good computer skills. Prior Oracle software experience is a plus.
In addition to the responsibilities listed above, other duties may be assigned by your supervisor, as dictated by business necessity. EDUCATION List the minimum education required to be qualified for the position, including certifications or licenses. High School, GED or equivalent EXPERIENCE List experience preferred to be qualified for the position - Prior experience maintaining computer records of inventory in a food production facility preferred.
SPECIFICATIONS List specifications required for the job and indicate the importance and proficiency levels of each.
* Knowledge - Must be computer literate, prior oracle software experience preferred.
* Skills - Must be able to read, write, and solve math problems. Must have good communication skills, computer skills, organizational skills and problem-solving skills. Must be detail oriented.
* Abilities - Ability to follow written and oral instructions. Must have demonstrable ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
