Operations Manager
Our client, a privately held and rapidly growing national multifamily development and property management company, is seeking a Multifamily Operations Trainer to play a key role in advancing onsite performance across its portfolio. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced industry professional who is passionate about developing people, standardizing best practices, and driving operational excellence.
As the Multifamily Operations Trainer, you will design, deliver, and facilitate engaging training programs that empower onsite teams to succeed. From leasing and resident relations to financial management, maintenance operations, customer service, and essential soft skills, your work will directly impact property performance, resident satisfaction, and long-term asset value.
You will also serve as a trusted operational partner to onsite teams—reinforcing company policies and procedures, supporting lease-up and stabilization efforts, and ensuring consistent execution across properties. Working closely with leadership, you will help maximize occupancy, enhance property value, and foster a culture of accountability, service, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver dynamic training programs covering all aspects of multifamily property operations
- Facilitate both classroom and onsite training related to leasing, resident relations, financial processes, maintenance operations, customer service, and professional development
- Ensure company policies, procedures, and operational standards are consistently executed at the property level
- Support leasing efforts and operational objectives for assigned properties
- Partner with leadership to identify training needs, performance gaps, and opportunities for improvement
- Travel to communities as needed to provide hands‑on training, coaching, and operational support
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Operations Trainer within the multifamily industry
- Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills with the ability to engage teams at all levels
- Highly organized, solutions‑oriented, and adaptable in a fast‑paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Collaborative mindset with a passion for mentoring and team development
- Willingness and ability to travel to properties for training and support
