General Manager

Overview

General Manager role ation:
Henderson, NV. Compensation: $136,000 - $204,000 annually, depending on experience. Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 6:00pm (hours subject to change based on business needs).

OnTrac is hiring a General Manager. You will report to the Regional General Manager and provide strategic leadership for warehouse operations, directing the units and team members within the facility and overseeing any satellite projects as necessary.

• Lead facility management in development, production, promotion, and financial aspects of the organization s services.
• Plan, direct, and budget based on corporate goals and objectives.
• Regularly evaluate overall operations and report results to the Regional Operations and General Managers.
• Maintain engineered staffing levels for all positions, including coaching, skills development, rewards and recognition, performance management, and productivity for hourly and salaried staff.
• Ensure adherence to all aspects of the contract and coordinate with Vendors and Independent Contractors for accountability to the operating agreement.
• Inspire a shared vision, empower and engage the team.

• GED or Diploma required; bachelor s degree in Logistics or related discipline preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of management experience, 2 in a similar industry; or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
• 6 years of experience in the industry or related field, or an equivalent mix of experience and education.
• Last-mile delivery or Small Parcel experience highly desired.
• Experience with an independent contractor model; strong negotiation skills.
• Strong leadership to inspire, empower, and engage a team; excellent organizational and time-management skills using MS Office.
