We are seeking a highly motivated and sales‑driven leader to manage day‑to‑day operations, improve sales, and build a team of leaders who share our passion for fitness and customer service.
Position PurposeDevelop a team that delivers exceptional customer experience and achieves business objectives.
Responsibilities- Hire, train, schedule, and supervise staff members, including Assistant General Managers and Fitness Consultants.
- Communicate goals, expectations, and procedures to staff, ensuring clarity of roles.
- Set and achieve membership and revenue goals, track KPIs, and develop strategies to increase retention and sign‑ups.
- Provide constructive feedback to staff on performance, highlighting strengths and areas for improvement.
- Ensure high‑quality customer service by addressing member concerns, managing inquiries, and resolving issues promptly.
- Engage members in a friendly and approachable manner, actively listening to their needs and providing helpful responses.
- Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations, proper certifications, and safety protocols.
- Supervise facility maintenance and cleanliness of equipment, locker rooms, and common areas.
- Handle emergencies or disruptions by communicating calmly and clearly with staff and members to ensure safety.
- 2 years of sales management experience.
- 3–4 years of customer service experience.
- Prior experience or strong interest in the fitness industry.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with employees, management, and vendors.
- Excellent relationship‑building and influencing skills at all levels.
- Strong attention to detail, systematic problem‑solving, and good time‑management and organization.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Embodiment of our Core Values.
- Must successfully pass a background check.
- CPR certification required within 30 days of hire.
- Ability to work in a gym setting; move about club floors and rooms; communicate with employees, members, and the public.
- Ability to access and operate the company computer system, prepare documents, enter data, and read reports.
- Capacity to routinely bend and lift more than 40 lbs.
$58,656 – $105,000 USD
