Position: Maintenance Shift Supervisor with Security Clearance

M1 Support Services is seeking a Maintenance Shift Supervisor to primarily provide oversight and report status of all scheduled and unscheduled aircraft and equipment maintenance, both on and off equipment, on assigned aircraft and equipment in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS), M1 policy, DAFI 21‑101(and supplements), as well as industry standards. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Responsibilities
  • Manage and track employees’ training status to Program Management, coordinating with the Production Supervisor on job‑specific and cross‑utilization training shortfalls and priorities.
  • Organize aircraft hangars/work areas to ensure cleanliness, standardized maintenance discipline, accurate aircraft forms documentation, proper tracking, and inventory of aircraft parts.
  • Direct back‑shop scheduled and unscheduled maintenance events with the Production Supervisor or DOM to keep aircraft, tooling, and seismic equipment mission‑capable.
  • Enforce strict adherence to AFIs, technical data, engineering dispositions, management procedures and company policy.
  • Know, understand and comply with the requirements outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS).
  • Ensure aircraft and equipment forms and MIS documentation are completed and accurate in accordance with TO 00‑20‑1.
  • Ensure aircraft status is accurately reflected in both the maintenance forms and the MIS.
  • Analyze back‑shop production processes to determine where improvements may be made.
  • Assist DOM to analyze QA findings and ensure corrective and preventive action plans are implemented and adhered to.
  • Manage employee timecards, administer discipline, oversee work‑center audit findings and coordinate Information Systems implementation where needed.
  • Participate in developing and executing monthly and weekly flying and maintenance schedules/plans.
  • Assign priorities to meet the flying and maintenance schedules.
  • Attend daily maintenance production/scheduling meetings and weekly scheduling meetings in accordance with the PWS.
  • Fully understand and implement disaster‑control plans for aircraft/SE movement and personnel evacuation.
  • Determine, track and report aircraft status, inform MOC, and coordinate with MOC, Flight Line Expediter and other site organizations for support.
  • Authorize CANN actions; verify MICAP conditions exist; sign ERs; verify NRTS conditions.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED is required.
  • Minimum 10 years hands‑on aircraft maintenance experience with at least 3 years supervisory experience and 3 years aircraft production experience. Minimum of 1 year in the last 3 on A‑10, F‑15, F‑16, F‑22, F‑35.
  • Must speak, read, write, and understand English.
  • Must be able to work day shift, night shift or weekend duty and travel as part of a maintenance recovery team as required.
  • Must deal with the customer and company employees in a courteous, professional and effective manner.
  • Must be reliable, self‑motivated and be able to handle stressful situations and timelines while maintaining a professional and nonconfrontational attitude.
  • Working knowledge of principles applying to aircraft systems, concepts and applications of maintenance directives, data reporting, and use of technical data is mandatory.
  • Knowledge of Air Force supply and efficiency reporting procedures is mandatory.
  • Knowledge of proper handling, use, and disposal of hazardous waste and materials is mandatory.
  • Must be able to obtain/maintain the security clearance level as mandated by the government customer.
  • Must possess a current valid U.S. Driver’s License.
  • May be required to obtain a government driver’s license; if CMA access required, must pass a color‑vision test.
  • Must be able to move about inside aircraft hangars and on aircraft ramps within close proximity of running equipment and aircraft.
  • Must have a working knowledge of computers for input/extract data and basic software such as Word, Outlook, Power Point, and Excel.
  • May be required to obtain/maintain aircraft and/or equipment Red X/ IPI/ ER certification as required.
