Position Summary
Emergency Department Float Pool Registered Nurse provides care to adult and pediatric patients in the Emergency Department and Psych Hold areas. This position is represented by CNA and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
ResponsibilitiesAdminister emergency and pediatric nursing care, collaborate with interdisciplinary team, maintain accurate documentation, participate in quality improvement initiatives, and comply with safety and regulatory standards.
Qualifications- Two (2) years’ experience as an RN in the Emergency Department.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- RN license from the State of NV Nursing Board.
- CT CPRBLS – Basic Life Support – AHA.
- CT CPRACLS – Advanced Life Support – AHA.
- CT CPRPALS – Pediatric Advanced Life Support – AHA (Required within 6 months of hire).
- TNCC – Trauma Nurse Core Course (Required within 6 months of hire).
- NIHSS – NIH Stroke-AM Stroke ASC‑Nat'l – Training upon hire/transfer.
- Quarterly AHA Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post‑hire required.
- Float Pool experience.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
- Certification in Specialty Area.

Pay Range$75.01 - $78.01 /hour
