• Successful completion of education required for state licensure or eligibility in Physical Therapy Assisting
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of practice
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification

• Ability to lift patients using biomedical techniques, capable of lifting 50 pounds alone
• Ability to walk, bend, stand, and reach frequently during shifts
• Visual acuity sufficient for accurate records, recognizing people, and understanding written directions
• Ability to speak and hear sufficient to understand and give directions
• Ability to push wheeled equipment throughout the facility
  
  Fine motor skills adequate for scheduling and preparing patients, equipment, and supplies
• Ability to participate in sustained activities for many hours per shift per state labor laws
