The Regional Finance Manager supervises professional accounting work and analysis of financial data, overseeing the monthly closing process and cost accounting for all plants within the assigned region. The role is responsible for managing and developing plant controllers, partnering with regional Somali operations and sales, assessing risk and opportunities, and ensuring full internal control measures are in place.

• Build and maintain a high‑performing team to provide financial support to Operations and Sales teams in the assigned region.
• Establish clear goals and objectives and provide regular, timely feedback, coaching, guidance, and direction to team members.
• Challenge regional leadership on financial performance and improvement opportunities.
• Oversee monthly closing and cost accounting for plants within the region.
• Perform general ledger maintenance and balance sheet analysis.
• Manage cost, inventory, and project accounting and analysis.
• Prepare and disseminate financial statements.
• Set and attain standards of asset performance aligned with plant performance requirements.
• Implement spare‑parts management best practices to control spare parts and equipment.
• Ensure full internal control measures are in place.
• Partner with Sales and Operations Management to maximize profitability and drive plant and terminal performance.
• Establish control procedures for effective measurement of plant key performance indicators.
• Provide timely analysis of financial data and plant metrics used in business decisions.
• Provide profitability information related to customers and products.
• Offer financial consultation to plant management and other leaders.
• Create high‑quality financial models and analyses to support operational and capital expenditure decisions.
• Assess risks and opportunities in the business and work with management to resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Perform other duties as needed or assigned.

• Familiarity with average costing, standard cost systems, inventory control procedures, and automated inventory control systems.
• Knowledge of freight and commodity raw material forms (mining and manufacturing background preferred).
Physical Demands
• Must be physically able to perform work assigned and access all plant locations, aż may include heights, confined spaces, climbing ladders or stairs, and tunnels.
• Work will be conducted in both office and mining environments, potentially exposing employees to temperature extremes, noise, uneven surfaces, vibration, oils, and dust, fumes, and metallic particles.
• Periodic travel to regional locations as needed.
• Access all site areas, including heights of 120 feet, confined spaces, climbing ladders or stairs, and tunnels.
