- Client Engagement & Strategic Growth:
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, suppliers and internal teams. Identify client needs, develop tailored solutions and contribute to Key Account Management Plans and Opportunity Capture Plans. - Opportunity & Proposal Leadership:
Evaluate strategic business opportunities, lead proposal development and present compelling business cases to senior leadership. - Team Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing:
Work as part of a global growth‑focused team coordinating with subject‑matter experts, proposal managers and Operations to ensure seamless proposal execution and transition to project delivery teams. - Market & Industry Insight:
Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies, apply market intelligence to identify innovative solutions and competitive advantages. - Performance & Reporting:
Own growth targets and use CRM to track opportunity pipeline. Demonstrate strong business acumen, strategic thinking and execution skills with high integrity and entrepreneurial drive.
- A university degree in Engineering.
- Advanced degree preferably MBA or Masters in Metallurgical, Chemical or Mineral Processing Engineering.
- Minimum 15 years of metallurgical and/or mineral processing industry experience with a proven track record in building strategic client relationships in the targeted US markets (Nevada, Arizona and Utah) and achieving growth targets.
- Experience in US and international metallurgy and mineral processing sectors with a focus on the US Southwest region.
- Network of senior contacts in the United States (Nevada and Arizona) and global mining and metallurgy industry, and experience interacting with clients at all levels.
- Experience working in a team environment and managing large business opportunities from identification of prospects through to closing in both structured and unstructured client environments.
- Advanced understanding of the theory and practical applications of some or all of the following fields: mineral processing, pyrometallurgy and hydrometallurgy.
- Knowledge of the design, management and operation of plants associated with these fields.
- Ability to identify client opportunities that fit with our service offering and translate these client needs into compelling business proposals.
- Outstanding oral, written and interpersonal skills, including presentations to senior and executive‑level clients.
- Demonstrated ability to implement strategy and work independently.
- Ability to travel as required; travel may comprise up to 50% of the time primarily within the United States.
- Fluency in English and Spanish; additional languages are an asset.
