Pave Talent is hiring on behalf of our client, an established $100M battery technology company in Henderson, NV.

As Senior Electrical Engineer, you'll drive the complete lifecycle of battery management systems and electrical hardware design. This hands‑on role spans R&D through production floor execution, directly impacting product reliability for mission‑critical applications where failure is not an option. You'll replace a retiring engineer, bringing fresh perspectives to a team rebuilding cohesion under new leadership.

• Design and develop Battery Management Systems (BMS) controlling voltage, temperature, current, and state‑of‑charge monitoring across multiple product lines
• Lead PCBA layout and design using Altium Designer or Cadence OrCad for next‑generation energy storage solutions
• Drive electrical system specifications balancing economy, safety, reliability, quality, and sustainability
• Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams on new product development from concept through production
• Conduct Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and support quality teams in root‑cause analysis
• Validate electrical/electronic hardware through comprehensive design reviews and hands‑on testing
• Provide technical expertise for CAN, RS485, and external interface implementations
• Maintain engineering design standards while supporting production floor troubleshooting

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 8+ years electrical engineering experience
• 3+ years battery technology or energy storage systems experience
• Strong schematic reading and electronic assembly troubleshooting skills
• Hands‑on experience with CAN, RS485, and external communication interfaces
• Proficiency debugging with oscilloscopes, multi‑meters, signal generators, and logic analyzers
• Soldering capability for through‑hole and surface‑mount assemblies
• Experience with project/issue management tools
