We are looking for a self‑motivated technician to assist in developing and delivering our world‑class water treatment systems. You must live within a 30‑minute commute of Henderson WA, 6166.

About the Role: As the Commissioning & Client Field Operations & Maintenance Lead, you will manage and execute commissioning, operation, and performance optimisation of OLEOLOGY’s treatment systems. You’ll work closely with Engineering and Project teams across Australia and Malaysia to ensure systems meet safety, quality, and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute commissioning activities for treatment systems.
  • Conduct functional testing, equipment calibration, and system performance verification against design specifications.
  • Prepare and maintain commissioning documentation, test reports, and validation records.
  • Ensure safe, compliant, and efficient start‑up operations in collaboration with Project Engineers and clients.
  • Supervise and support ongoing operations across client sites.
  • Monitor system performance, analyse operational data, and implement process optimisation measures.
  • Oversee troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair works to ensure consistent system uptime.
  • Develop and update operational procedures, preventive maintenance schedules, and system manuals.
  • Provide technical and engineering support to clients and site personnel.
  • Collaborate with fabricators, suppliers, and subcontractors to enhance equipment reliability and performance.
  • Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and safety briefings in accordance with OLEOLOGY’s HSE framework.
  • Develop and review project deliverables such as PFDs, data sheets, and testing documentation.
  • Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to coordinate commissioning and field service activities.
  • Plan logistics, manpower, materials, and scheduling for site assignments.
  • Prepare progress updates, system performance summaries, and detailed final handover reports.
  • Support client training and post‑commissioning assistance as required.

Education & Experience

  • Technical degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or Environmental Engineering.
  • 5–8 years of experience in commissioning, operations, or maintenance within water treatment, oil & gas, or process industries.
  • Exposure to site‑based work and commissioning documentation is highly regarded.

Technical Skills

  • Strong understanding of water treatment systems, pumps, piping, and instrumentation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with PLC/SCADA systems is an advantage.
  • Working knowledge of commissioning and testing procedures, QA/QC documentation, and safety compliance standards.
