Seventh-day Adventist Schools (Victoria) Ltd is seeking Casual Educators to join the team at Henderson College Early Learning Centre, Mildura. These positions are open to Certificate III and Diploma-qualified Educators, including those working towards either qualification, from Term 1, 2026.

The focus of the Educator is to provide a friendly, secure and stimulating learning environment for all children attending the Centre and to assist in the planning and implementation of programs (including early learning encounters based on Christian principles and values) which meet the developmental, cultural and individual needs of children in care.

The successful candidate will demonstrate that they:

• Are able to work within a collaborative team environment.
• Can assist in the implementation of programs targeted to meet children's needs.
• Have strong skills in positive behaviour guidance and reflective practice.
• Have confidence supporting children with additional needs.
• Can support and actively promote the Christian-based values and ethos of the College based on the mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
• Are able to work within the VEYLDF framework in the context of the College's Christian-based ethos.
• Willingness to participate in daily Christian-based devotions with children.
• Willingness to learn and operate within the Xplor Education childcare management platform.

Requirements
:

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA recognised equivalent). Applicants actively working towards either qualification will be considered.
• Current Victorian Working with Children's Check (Employee).
• Current certificates in First Aid, Emergency Asthma Management and Anaphylaxis Management, and Child Protection training.
• Ability to work shifts from Monday to Friday between 8 am and 5:30 pm.
