Exciting Opportunity for Licensed General Medicine Physicians – Locum Position in Nevada

Join our team as a Locum - Physician - General Medicine NV and make a meaningful impact by providing essential medical evaluations for Veterans. This flexible, PRN role offers you the chance to work independently within your own office setting across Nevada, supporting our nation's heroes with professionalism and expertise. Key Responsibilities:

Conduct Compensation and Pension (C&P) exams and Separation Health Assessments for Veterans.

Perform interview-based evaluations with some physical assessments, including range of motion and muscle strength testing.

Complete exams efficiently within designated time frames, submit reports, and perform administrative follow-up.

Ensure compliance with all applicable guidelines and maintain high-quality standards in every assessment.

Work independently at your own office location, with minimal supervision and flexible scheduling options.

Required Skills:

Valid medical license in the state of Nevada.

Experience in internal medicine, family medicine, orthopedic surgery, or general medicine.

Ability to conduct interview-based exams with minimal physical intervention.

Strong organizational and report-writing skills.

Excellent communication abilities and professionalism.

Nice to Have

Skills:

Prior experience with Compensation & Pension evaluations.

Knowledge of veteran healthcare protocols or familiarity with government contracting environments.

Capacity to perform assessments within specified geographic radii.

Preferred

Education and Experience:

Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.

At least 1-3 years of clinical experience, ideally with experience in assessments or evaluations.

Previous work in a government or veteran healthcare setting is advantageous.

Other Requirements:

Own a dedicated office location within the specified geographic areas (Pahrump, Gardnerville/Minden, Ely).

Local candidates only; travel and related expenses are included in rates.

Ability to complete required training, including portal onboarding and medical opinions.

Compliance with all licensing, certification, and state/federal regulations.

Availability for ongoing, flexible assignments on a PRN basis.

No prescribing or treatment responsibilities involved.

Must pass credentialing process promptly and maintain compliance with all client and regulatory requirements.
