Senior Graphic Artist

The City of Henderson announces an examination to create an eligibility list and to fill one vacancy for the classification of Senior Graphic Artist in the Department of Communications. The eligibility list may be utilized to fill vacancies for this classification for up to one year.

Under general supervision, coordinates the Graphic Arts function and assists City departments with advertising, marketing, and public outreach activities through the use of graphic design, photographic services, and text, including electronic and print media; and performs related duties as assigned.

• The salary range for this position is $71,013.55 - $ annually.

• Associate’s Degree from an accredited college or university in graphic arts, graphic design, computer graphics, fine arts, or a related field
• Four years of experience as a graphic artist, one year of which included lead or supervisory experience
• Note:
  
  An equivalent combination of related training and experience may be considered
• Must possess and maintain a valid Nevada or border state driver’s license, as defined by NRS 483
• Desirable:
  Bachelor’s degree in related field or professional certificate in graphic arts, graphic design, or computer graphics from an accredited three-year design school
