We are seeking a highly skilled Superintendent to oversee the successful completion of our Idaho Falls Elevator Modernization and Hospital Project. This position requires extensive travel with mileage reimbursement and per diem provided at 90% of the GSA maximum. The project schedule is dynamic, requiring flexibility in home rotations based on project needs. The project involves elevator replacements and modernization, including S controllers, hoist modernization, fire alarms, electrical systems, smoke doors, and lobby barricades.
The project has commenced and is expected to conclude in late May 2026, with an anticipated work schedule of 40-50 hours per week, and national travel immediately following.
- Develop a detailed schedule and cost-effective plan for project completion.
- Collaborate with staff to create preconstruction estimates and budgets for materials and labor.
- Coordinate and schedule work activities for tradespeople, professionals, and laborers, ensuring clear communication through project foreperson.
- Regularly inspect work for quality and timeliness, prepare and provide progress reports to owners and architects, and make recommendations for necessary modifications.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, attorneys, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with specifications, zoning requirements, and regulations.
- Ensure adherence to architectural and engineering plans.
- Obtain required permits and licenses and execute construction contracts as per agreement terms.
- Monitor project budget and communicate any variances.
- Maintain records related to costs and inventory.
- Address safety violations or other deficiencies promptly.
- Collaborate with union representatives to clarify procedures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- OSHA 10 certification
- Experience with Procore or similar construction management software
- 5+ years of superintendent experience
- Elevator management experience
- Experience in healthcare construction projects
Skills & Qualifications
- OSHA 30 certification
- Experience in commercial construction
- Subcontractor management
The work environment includes extensive travel with project locations primarily in Idaho Falls. The position involves dynamic scheduling with a flexible home rotation. Work hours are typically 40-50 hours per week. The role requires working with modern construction technologies and adhering to safety protocols. The project setting includes hospital environments, requiring a professional demeanor and adherence to healthcare facility regulations.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Las Vegas, NV.
Pay & BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $55.00 - $60.00/hr.
