Professionals eager to develop their skills or advance their career levels are invited to join Civmec’s proficient Payroll Team. Based in our Corporate Offices in Henderson, you’ll play a key role ensuring efficient and accurate processing of payments on a weekly and monthly basis.

Working collaboratively with the Payroll Manager and Team, you’ll be part of a dynamic environment that values precision and expertise. Whether you’re an experienced individual or new to the profession, your application will be considered thoroughly.

• Enter new & update existing employees onto payroll systems as per employment contracts.
• Assist with payroll and EOY reconciliations.
• Reconcile weekly PAYG tax payments.
• Maintain current award updates and payroll adjustments.
• Prepare, calculate and reconcile weekly and monthly payments for wage and salary-based staff
• Calculate and process termination payments for employees.
• Provide accurate daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required.
• Perform other general duties that may be necessary to suit operational requirements as directed.

To be successful in the role you will possess the following:

• Previous demonstrated experience in a payroll position
• Relevant qualifications in Payroll or similar is desirable
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Working knowledge of EBA interpretation. FWA and ATO relevant legislation.
• Strong focus on delivering a high level of customer service
• Previous experience with SAP/ Success Factors is highly desirable
