Job DescriptionWe are seeking an Office Administrator to join our Wholesale team! You will perform administrative and clerical functions in order to drive company success.
Responsibilities:- Order processing from your own customers and from other warehouses
- Logging into customer order portals and processing open orders
- Receiving Shipments (Checking off incoming containers and inbound LTL shipments) Issue/Control Purchase Orders for warehouses when they want to buy from local vendors (Tires, etc.)
- Send in PO requests/order entry
- Take phone calls from stores to field questions about price and availability
- Managing pickups and dropships & LTL orders (daily UPS pickups, scheduling trucks)
- Inventory- performing weekly/monthly cycle count on various inventory items for accounting team to process
- Creating, processing and scanning invoices daily
- Gathering POD’s for past shipments and filing them in Microsoft Teams
- Use Microsoft Excel to create pull lists for warehouse associates as well as to generate shipment weights
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office –
Excel (specifically vlookup/xlookup, pivot tables, & formulas), Windows, and Outlook - Good /clear (English) communication and writing skills as well as strong attention to detail
- Experience with business correspondence and dealing with customers and colleagues (by email and by telephone) in a high volume, time sensitive and deadline-oriented environment would be a plus
- Ability to take direction, quick thinker, and problem solving
- Basic understanding of accounting/operations
- Ability to keep track and follow up on orders/cases that are still pending
- College degree preferred, not required
