We are looking for an Accounts Receivable & Credit Control Officer who will be responsible for managing the company's accounts receivable process, ensuring timely collections, and maintaining strong relationships with our customers. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive approach to credit management.
Key responsibilities:
Manage the accounts receivable process, including invoicing, collections, and account reconciliation.
Liaise with customers to ensure timely payment of outstanding invoices.
Monitor and manage the aging of accounts receivable, identifying and addressing any potential risks.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to facilitate effective communication and prompt resolution of payment issues.
Prepare and present regular reports on accounts receivable status and credit control performance.
Process daily bank receipts.
Implement and maintain credit control policies and procedures to minimize bad debt and improve cash flow.
Manage credit insurance policies to mitigate risk and ensure coverage for outstanding receivables.
What we're looking for:
Minimum of five-year experience in a similar role.
Have a dynamic personality and a positive attitude.
Strong time management and flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
Experience in Mining/Mining Services desirable with experience managing customer portals (I.e. SAP Ariba, Rio Tinto TRACK, Coupa).
Experience with Greentree ERP system desirable.
