Welder - Elevated Tank Field Erection (Manufacturing). This position will perform the functions of a skilled welder. They will work from structure plans to weld various parts. Measure, cut, and join appropriate metals to specifications. Use grinder to smooth and clean as appropriate.

• Perform tasks related to the erection phase of construction in a safe and efficient manner.
• Weld SMAW in flat, vertical, horizontal, and overhead positions (required).
• Weld FCAW gas shielded and self-shielded wire in flat, vertical, horizontal, and overhead positions (required).
• Experience welding FCAW on ceramic backer.
• Experience reading WPS.
• Experience welding and passing X-rays per AWWA D100, AWWA D107 and AWS D1.1 codes.
• Arc gouge in flat, vertical, horizontal, and overhead positions.
• Oxy/acetylene or oxy/propylene torch work.
• Ability to understand and interpret drawings and/or blueprints.
• Working at heights up to 300' above ground.
• Rigging knowledge associated with craning and hoisting activities.
• Signaling of cranes and other heavy construction equipment.
• Safe operation of construction tools and equipment.

• 2 to 5 years of similar experience and progressive responsibility.
• Must be able to travel frequently (42-plus weeks annually) and work at heights.
• Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Must be able to pass background check and drug screening.
• Experience with OSHA and other regulatory requirements and industry standards.
