The Load Out Operator uses heavy equipment for loading outbound trucks with finished product and is responsible for ensuring a steady flow of material for processing.

• Operates yard and plant equipment to load materials. Maintains raw material mixture at proper moisture content.
• Maintains contact with operator to ensure most efficient drying rate.
• Performs daily maintenance on loader before each shift.
• Washes plant equipment, vehicles, and processing areas as necessary using high pressure power washer.
• Performs general cleaning as needed in work areas.
• Keeps area clean; raw materials piled out of driving area.
• Maintains safety as top priority in accordance with all company safety rules and regulations.
• Reviews and evaluates qualitative data reports to verify that product meets Company specifications.
• All other duties as assigned.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in loader operations within a production environment.
• Must be able to work nights and weekends as needed.

• Experience working in a rendering operation preferred.
• Basic math skills; ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers.
• Good oral and written skills; able to follow oral and written directions.
• Ability to review & comprehend qualitative data reports to verify product meets specifications.
• Ability to deal with minor problems involving equipment or various situations.

The physical demands and work environment for this position include frequent sitting, walking, use of hands and fingers, occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, climbing ladders, and constant talking, hearing, tasting, smelling. The role requires lifting and carrying up to 100 pounds frequently. Workers may be exposed to high noise levels, strong odors, heat and cold, biohazardous conditions, toxic or caustic chemicals, electrical hazards, potentially dangerous equipment, and may travel to offsite locations.

These conditions are represented by frequently or constantly occurrence in the workplace.
