Pay-Rate $17.10 Per Hour

Purpose:

By adhering to The Village Management Staff Philosophy, Vision and Mission Statements, the food server will serve residents in a pleasant manner, beginning with taking their order, serving drinks, appetizers, entrées and desserts. The server will buss any dirty dishes during and after meal times and reset every table assigned to them with clean linen, silverware, china, and also ensures that daily side work is complete.

Duties and responsibilities (other duties related to this position may be assigned):
  • Provides fast, efficient, friendly service to everyone.
  • Be able to set up and work the tray line, also preparing in room trays.
  • Wrapping desserts and other items for tray line.
  • Basic Knowledge of Therapeutic and mechanically altered diets.
  • Serving Resident Meals in dining room.
  • Preparing daily nourishments.
  • Preparing daily snack tray for residents.
  • Cleaning and re-setting dining room, in addition to cleaning the kitchen.
  • Preparing drinks for the tray line including thickened liquid beverages.
  • Preparing nourishment.
  • Consistently following all safety rules and policies or the company and department specifics.
  • Consistently following the Company Polies and Procedures as stated in the Employee Handbook and within the individual department, including infection control prevention.
  • Completes all assigned tasks and duties timely, correctly and thoroughly.
  • Clocks in and out per Company Policy as scheduled. Adheres to Attendance Policy.
  • Follows Company and Department Uniform Policy.
  • Be a team player.
  • Uses time effectively to ensure that duties are complete according to schedule.
  • Understands the goals that must be achieved.
  • Corrects all deficiencies as soon as possible.
