Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Logistics Manager to oversee and optimise our supply chain operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing transportation and distribution activities, ensuring seamless coordination across all logistics functions. This role offers an excellent opportunity to lead process improvements and implement innovative strategies to enhance efficiency within a dynamic organisation.

Monday to Friday - The successful candidate will however be flexible to business requirements.

Starting Salary: £65,000

• Accountability for overall productivity within the operation, ensuring that activities are cost effective and levels of resource are managed effectively
• Planning and delivery of operational transport activities through your Transport Team
• Managing vehicle compliance
• Coordinate shipping and receiving activities, ensuring timely dispatch and receipt of goods while maintaining compliance with safety standards.
• Ensure continuous improvement of all transport operations.
• Work within budget to achieve business aims.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across all logistics functions.
• Provide leadership and training to all relevant staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

• Proven experience in logistics management within a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain processes.
• Hands on experience with complex transport functions.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets for strategic planning.
• Effective communication skills to liaise with internal teams, suppliers, carriers, and stakeholders at all levels.
