Ton driver

Position: 7.5ton driver
Gi Group are looking for an experienced 7.5ton driver in Hemel Hempstead, this is multi-drop work for a well know local food company. This is a temp-perm role

7.5ton pay rate:

* Monday to Friday £14.53

* Up to £34,000 per year when permanent

7.5ton shift:

* Monday to Friday

* 05:00 starts

7.5ton key Duties

* Deliveries to the food service industry (bars, restaurants etc)

* Up to 25 drops

* Driver will need to load and unload vehicle, using tail-lift, pallet/pump truck

We need drivers with the below:

* UK, in date, 7.5ton (C1) licence with 1 year experience minimum

* Current and valid CPC and Digi Tacho

* No more than 6 penalty points (no IN, MS, CU, TT, DR or DD codes)

* Must be willing and able to do manual handling (multi-drop deliveries)

* Must adhere to food safety legislation requirements

* Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative

* Tactful and courteous

* Take pride in their work

* Ability to cope under pressure

* Reliable and trustworthy

* Good communication skills
