I am recruiting on behalf of my client, a well-established removals company based in Hemel Hempstead, who are looking for a Class 2 Driver to join their team on a temp-to-perm basis.
This role is hands-on and physical – the most important part of the job is being happy to load, unload and move furniture as part of a supportive team. Driving duties are secondary, with a maximum of 2 removals per day (most commonly
1), mainly within Hertfordshire.

Key Responsibilities:

* Driving Class 2 vehicles (mix of manual and automatic)
 
* Loading and unloading furniture and household goods
 
* Working as part of a team to complete removals efficiently
 
* Ensuring customer belongings are handled with care
 
* Completing paperwork and communicating with customers
Requirements:
 
* Valid Class 2 (Category

C) licence – new passes welcome
 
* Comfortable driving both manual and automatic HGVs
 
* Physically fit and happy with manual labour
 
* Good written and verbal communication skills
 
* Reliable, punctual and customer-focused
