Are you looking for an exciting new challenge? Could you provide advice and assistance to people facing homelessness? This is an exciting opportunity to work within the Homeless Prevention Team of an innovative Housing Options Service. We are seeking a passionate individual to lead the team responsible for delivering such services with an emphasis on prevention of homelessness.

• Ensure services are delivered in line with the Council’s Homelessness & Rough Sleeping Strategy and associated policies.
• Ensure the Council appropriately discharges its legal obligations to people threatened with or experiencing homelessness and those in housing need.
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with external stakeholders and seize opportunities to ensure effective operational management of the service.
• Work in collaboration with other services and senior management to join up services appropriately and align them with the Council’s aims and objectives.

• Valid UK driving licence.
• Clear Standard check with the Disclosure and Barring Service.
