NEOS Engineering is recruiting on behalf of a busy and well‑established plant maintenance company based near Watford. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Heavy Plant Engineer to join their experienced team.

As a Heavy Plant Engineer, you will be responsible for the inspection, servicing, and repair of a wide range of heavy plant machinery. This is a hands‑on role involving both workshop‑based work and attendance at customer sites, ensuring equipment is maintained to the highest standards and ready for operation.

• Inspect, service, and repair a variety of heavy plant machinery.
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently and safely.
• Work in line with manufacturer guidelines and company procedures.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and attention to detail.
• Operate safely within the workshop and on customer sites.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and management.

• Proven experience in heavy plant maintenance and repair.
• NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Plant Maintenance or a related discipline, or willingness to work towards this qualification.
• Own tools suitable for the role.
• A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.
• Strong communication skills and a professional approach.
