We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shift PSV Mechanic to join our professional Engineering team at our Hemel Hempstead depot.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified engineer with proven experience working on buses to play a key role in maintaining a modern and diverse fleet. You will be responsible for planned and preventative maintenance, fault diagnostics, and reactive repairs, ensuring vehicles consistently meet Arriva and DVSA standards.
** Your Role
** As a PSV Mechanic, you will:
* Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs in line with Arriva and DVSA standards
* Support continuous improvement in vehicle reliability and performance
* Prepare vehicles for MOTs, complete planned preventative maintenance, and conduct quality checks
* Diagnose faults and ensure fleet reliability exceeds DVSA requirements
* Attend roadside breakdowns when required
** Rota Pattern
** You will work a rotating Early / Day shift rota, covering 5 days out of 7 (Sunday to Saturday):
* Day shift: 08:30 – 16:30
* Late shift: 14:00 – 22:00
** What We’re Looking For
*** NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in PSV or HGV Maintenance & Repair    *(International qualifications considered, subject to validation)
** Full UK driving licence (maximum 6 points)
* Ability to pass a PCV pre-employment medical
