Home Care Assistant

Job Description

Your responsibilities as a Care Assistant include but are not restricted to :

• Stimulate and encourage through a variety of activities (for example clothing selection, hobbies and crafts.)
• Providing emotional support and companionship
• Assisting clients with personal care tasks such as grooming, dressing, and bathing
• Supporting clients with mobility
• Helping with daily activities such as meal preparation and medication reminders
• Running errands such as food shopping and collecting prescriptions
• Performing light house keeping tasks (dusting, vacuuming, making beds, changing linens, cleaning bathrooms / kitchens, washing and ironing taking out rubbish, caring for house plants etc.)
• Each client visit will last no less than 1 hour.

Previous social care isn't vital but full right to work in the UK and access to your own vehicle is essential. We understand a work life balance is key to a great working environment, so we offer a range of shifts timings throughout mornings, evenings and weekends suitable to for all lifestyles. Night shifts and Live In Carer opportunities also available.

Subject to compliance checks (including criminal record and any unspent convictions) and reference checks to be carried out.
