As our Maintenance person, you will be responsible for all repairs and maintenance across our home. You’ll walk the home daily to proactively identify any areas that need attention, conduct regular safety checks on various equipment, create a maintenance programme with our Home Manager, and interact with residents on a daily basis – friendly, caring and kind while respecting their dignity.
Responsibilities- Perform repairs and maintenance tasks across the property.
- Identify potential maintenance issues proactively during daily walks.
- Conduct regular safety checks on equipment.
- Create and maintain a maintenance programme with the Home Manager.
- Interact positively with residents, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
- Experienced in painting and decorating; electrical and plumbing skills beneficial but not essential.
- Excellent knowledge of Health and Safety, COSHH, Fire Safety and Food Safety.
- Proficient in keeping accurate, up-to-date records of checks and repairs.
