Financial Controller - Hemel Hempstead

JSS Search are pleased to be recruiting a Financial Controller role with a great business based in Hemel Hempstead. This is a great role for someone qualified (ACA, ACCA) who has experience in management accounting, P&L analysis, statutory reporting IFRS, VAT and year end. This is great role for someone 2-3 years post qualified with all-round experience.

As Financial Controller, you day-to-day responsibilities will include managing all aspects of accounting control functions, monthly management accounting, P&L analysis and management reporting.

• Producing monthly management accountants including P&L analysis
• Management accounting with variance analysis and commentary
• Maintain robust internal controls over accounting processes including accruals, provisions, working capital management
• Produce annual statutory accounts in accordance with IFRS ensuring full compliance with regulatory standards.
• Assist in managing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings by coordinating local consolidations
• Review general ledger balances through detailed analysis
• Coordinate intercompany accounting activities including eliminations and reconciliations
• Assist in managing cash flow
• Assist with external auditors, contribute to the audit processes

• Circa £70,000-£75,000 salary & benefits
