Field Service Engineer

We are seeking experienced Field Service Engineers based at four of our depots:
Farnham, Hemel, Braintree, Burgess Hill, or Thatcham. Additionally, we are looking for engineers to cover the Midlands region. The role involves servicing and repairing JCB construction plant and equipment for a diverse customer base across the South East of England.

• Provide onsite customer support for machinery within the region
• Maintain machinery in optimal condition through scheduled maintenance, repairs, and inspections
• Complete jobs efficiently, to a high standard, and within set time frames
• Develop and sustain good relationships with internal and external customers
• Work independently to troubleshoot and resolve issues
• Ensure all work and personal equipment comply with safety standards
• Supervise apprentices when required to ensure quality work and safety procedures

Key skills required:

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Plant/Land-Based Mechanical Engineering
• Or 10 years of relevant experience in Plant/Land-based mechanics
• Ability to service a wide range of heavy tracked JCB machinery
• Investigate and diagnose technical problems
• CPCS Card
• Strong interpersonal, customer, and commercial awareness
• Efficient, flexible, and able to work independently
