Are you an experienced High Voltage Engineer looking to step into a senior lead role within a growing business

Do you want a hands on HV position with long term progression and real influence over projects and team growth

This company is an established specialist electrical contractor delivering High Voltage works across private networks in the UK. With continued growth and increasing project demand, they are now looking to appoint a Lead High Voltage Operative to play a key role in delivery and future expansion of their HV division.

In this role, you will take a technical lead position while remaining hands on in the field. You will be responsible for carrying out HV and LV jointing and terminations, installing and maintaining HV switch gear, and completing planned and reactive maintenance, testing and fault finding. You will also support pricing and scoping of works, assist with developing new HV opportunities, and help build and lead the HV team as the business grows.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced HV Engineer or Jointer with strong technical capability across 11kV and LV systems. SAP authorisation is highly desirable, although candidates working towards SAP will also be considered. You will be a team focused individual, comfortable taking responsibility, willing to muck in on site when required, and keen to develop further into a senior leadership position.

Commissioning experience is highly advantageous but not essential.

• HV and LV jointing and terminations

• HV testing, fault finding and maintenance

• Supporting team growth and development

• Experienced HV Engineer or Jointer with 11kV and LV experience
• SAP authorised or working towards SAP
• Strong background in jointing, switch gear and HV testing
• Team player with a flexible, hands on attitude
• Ambitious and keen to progress into a senior HV role
