HLTA, Elementary School, Education ​/ Teaching

Are you an experienced HLTA looking for your next rewarding role in a welcoming primary school in Hemel Hempstead? We are working closely with a lovely 1-form entry primary school in Hemel Hempstead who are seeking a confident and capable Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible. This is a full-time position , initially running until the end of the academic year, with a strong possibility of extension for the right candidate .

The Role As a HLTA, you will play a key role across the school, supporting both pupils and teaching staff. Your responsibilities will include:
Delivering pre-planned lessons to cover PPA time Providing small group intervention support to help pupils make progress Offering general classroom support across key stages Working collaboratively with teachers and support staff to maintain a positive learning environment The Ideal HLTA Holds HLTA status or equivalent experience Has previous experience working within a primary school setting Is confident delivering lessons and managing a classroom Is proactive, flexible, and passionate about supporting children's learning Able to commute to Hemel Hempstead Why Apply?
