Holtsmere End Infant and Nursery School is a Good (Ofsted April
2022) and progressive school. We hold the Inclusion Quality Mark and are considered an inclusive Flagship school. We are a caring and nurturing school with dedicated staff who have high expectations and aspirations for all children. We are an oversubscribed 2 form entry Infant and Nursery school on Woodhall Farm on the edge of Hemel Hempstead with a 40 place Nursery and an extensive leafy, outdoor space.

We run a successful "forest school" and have embedded a "continuous provision" approach in Year 1, as we feel that this suits our learners.

It is essential that the successful candidate must have recent, school based experience of working with children with additional needs. The selected applicant will be fully supported by the class teacher and our SENCO. Training will also be provided.

We would like the successful candidate to work with a Year 1 child, under the direction of the class teacher supporting the child with their learning and social and emotional needs.

We are fortunate to have a dedicated sensory space for the children to avail of when needed.
