A leading UK house builder is seeking an experienced Site Manager to join the team on a new build residential development in Hemel Hempstead.

This is a great opportunity to work with a well-established developer delivering high-quality traditionally built homes as part of a strong and experienced site management team.

The Role

As Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations on site, ensuring homes are delivered safely, on programme and to the highest standards of quality.

You will manage subcontractors, coordinate trades and work closely with the wider project team to ensure the smooth delivery of the development.

Key Responsibilities

* Managing the day-to-day running of a traditional build housing development

* Supervising subcontractors and coordinating trades on site

* Ensuring health & safety standards are maintained at all times

* Monitoring build quality and ensuring homes meet company standards and specifications

* Managing site logistics, materials deliveries and workforce coordination

* Maintaining build programmes and ensuring key milestones are met

* Carrying out quality inspections and managing snagging processes

* Supporting NHBC inspections and customer handovers

Requirements

* Proven experience as a Site Manager within new build residential development

* Experience working for a house builder or residential main contractor

* Strong knowledge of traditional build housing

* Excellent organisational and leadership skills

* SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certification

* A proactive and hands-on approach to site management
