£35,000 - £40,000
We are pleased to be working with a leading brand in Hemel who are looking to add a Senior Purchase Ledger Assistant to their finance and accounting division in the Hertfordshire based HQ.
Responsibilities
Management of portfolio of supplier accounts
Reconciling supplier accounts to supplier statements
Enter, verify and pay supplier invoices
Negotiation of credits where necessary, challenging incorrect invoices and raising queries
Resolving accounts on stop
Working to resolve supplier queries, department managers and other internal stakeholders
Prepare BACS payment runs for weekly/monthly payments
Assist in month and year end process
Cover for the Purchase Ledger Manager when required
Skills & Experience
Strong working knowledge of full MS Suite
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to meet strict deadlines
Attention to detail
Net Suite experience is desirable but not essential
3 years' purchase ledger experience
