The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly accomplished Project Director to lead the full lifecycle delivery of a major Microsoft hyperscale data centre project. This is a unique opportunity to take responsibility for one of Europe's most high-profile mission critical developments, working with a world-leading technology client.
As Project Director, you will oversee all aspects of project delivery - from strategy, planning, and procurement through to construction, commissioning, and handover. You will act as the senior point of contact for the client, ensuring that Microsoft's world-class standards are achieved across quality, safety, schedule, and budget.

Key Responsibilities
 
Provide strategic leadership for the end-to-end delivery of a hyperscale data centre project.
Serve as the primary client interface, building a trusted relationship with Microsoft and ensuring alignment across all stakeholders.
Oversee CSA and MEP delivery, ensuring design and construction are executed to the highest standards.
Lead and mentor large project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Develop and implement project execution strategies, risk management frameworks, and governance processes.
Drive contract and commercial management including RFPs, procurement strategies, and change management.
Ensure all works comply with health, safety, sustainability, and quality standards.
Represent the consultancy at executive level, contributing to strategic decision-making and business growth.  About You
 
Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
Extensive experience in leading data centre, hyperscale, or mission-critical projects at director or senior project leadership level.
Proven track record of managing complex, high-value international projects.
Strong knowledge of CSA and MEP systems within large-scale technical builds.
Skilled in stakeholder management, with experience working closely with technology clients.
Commercially astute, with strong contract and risk management expertise.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
