Part-Time Night Warehouse Order Selector

Actively involved in order selection, staging, and loading of merchandise for next day’s deliveries. The individual will also perform dayshift activities as needed.

• Maintain an efficient quality and productivity standard established by Supervisor.
• Accurately read orders, pick products from warehouse location, and build pallets for next day delivery.
• Control damage and minimize product loss.
• Wrap, block, and load assigned nightly routes.
• Remove shrink wrap from picking pallets; neatly stack all empty pallets.
• Advocate for a positive workplace environment.
• Apply safety and maintenance policies to company operations.
• Stay within company set standards on minimum cases per hour with appropriate speed and accuracy.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Adhere to Company policies and procedures.
• Follow all applicable federal, state, and local regulations regarding the warehousing of alcoholic beverages.
• Do not abuse equipment and maintain company property such as vehicles and equipment.

• Maintain appropriate dress and appearance per Company standards.
• Display effective interpersonal communication with suppliers, employees, and customers.
• Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness in all areas of responsibility to ensure quality of work.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships.
• Show sound judgment, decision-making, and accountability.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous warehouse experience a plus.
• Previous experience with electric pallet jacks.

• General understanding of warehouse logistics, material handling, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to lift/carry/move 35 lbs. (maximum 160 lbs.).
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time, including bending, reaching, lifting, pulling.
• Operation of forklift, pallet jack, and scissor lift as needed.
• Familiarity with warehouse layout, product location set-up, and product rotation.
• Positive team dynamics and productive communication skills.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, vendors, agencies, and the public.
• Effectively communicate.
• Work on own initiative and handle a wide range of tasks.
• Understand and communicate Summit Beverage's organizational mission and goals.

While performing the duties, the employee is occasionally exposed to extreme cold, extreme heat, wet and/or humid conditions while working outside the warehouse, but on Summit campus. Employees are exposed to continual movement and vibration while using powered industrial equipment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
