• Use knowledge of scales, weight measures, and tares to accurately weigh and label products.
• Hire, schedule, train, and develop deli staff.
• Order, check, receive, and control inventory to ensure adequate inventory levels, product quality, freshness and prevent the sale of out of code product.
• Implement company programs, policies, and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and health code regulations.
• Monitor, control, and report on the various components to maximize revenue and minimize expenses while ensuring adequate supplies and staff are on hand to provide top quality customer service.
• Respond to customer trends, needs, issues, comments, and problems to ensure a quality experience.
• Identify and correct maintenance and repair issues.
• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of sales floor and work area, freezer, and equipment.
