The Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) provides high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in an ambulatory clinic setting, with a strong focus on infusion therapy and care coordination. This role collaborates closely with providers and interdisciplinary care teams to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate safe and effective patient care. The Infusion RN demonstrates advanced knowledge of infusion medications, administration methods, vascular access devices, and medication safety, while functioning independently during nurse appointments.
Responsibilities include patient education, triage, disease management, and clinical interventions that support efficient clinic flow, regulatory compliance, and an exceptional patient experience. Flexibility to support other Medical Group areas as needed is expected.
Graduate of accredited professional school of nursing. Nurses involved in the care of orthopedic and spine patients must adhere to defined educational and competency requirements in compliance with DNV Orthopedic and Spine certification. Nurses providing care to orthopedic and spine patients must complete specialty-specific education and validate competency annually.
License / Certification / RegistryCurrent Montana License as a Certified Registered Nurse. BLS certification required. Certification in Nurse Infusion preferred.
