Public Health Nurse

Lewis and Clark County Public Health, Disease Control and Prevention Division is recruiting for a Public Health Nurse to join our team!

Under direction of the Public Health Nurse Supervisor, this position performs public health education, communicable disease surveillance, health screenings, immunizations clinics (internal and off-site), school and childcare immunization record reviews, and rural school nursing. Position is open until filled and applications will be reviewed weekly.

The knowledge, skills, and abilities are acquired through graduation from an accredited college or university with an Associate’s Degree (or higher) in nursing and one (1) year public health, medical office, hospital or clinic experience. Preference will be given to applicants with a minimum of one year experience in public, community, or rural health. Incumbent may be required to obtain additional training specific to emergency preparedness.

Current Registered Nurse in Montana and CPR certification required.
