Evaluates plans and administers comprehensive physical therapy modalities/regimens to patients in their place of residence for the purpose of developing and restoring function through rehabilitative physical therapy as prescribed by a physician.

Demonstrates ability to meet deadlines, maintain accuracy, and handle constantly changing situations, diverse patient populations, stressful situations, and conflict.

Will perform all job duties or tasks as assigned, follow and adhere to licensing board requirements, agency regulations, and Benefis Health System organization policies and procedures.

• Current valid state Physical Therapy license
• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy curriculum/school
• For Medicare certified agencies:
  Graduate of a physical therapy curriculum approved by the American Physical Therapy Association, or Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association, or the Council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association and the American Physical Therapy Association; or
• Has graduated from a physical therapy curriculum in a four (4) year college or university approved by a State department of education; or
• Two (2) years of appropriate work experience as a Physical Therapist, and achieved a satisfactory grade on a proficiency examination conducted or sanctioned by the US Public Health Service (with exceptions based on license dates); or
• Two (2) years of work experience
• Prior home health experience preferred
• Current BLS certification
• Valid state driver’s license and reliable automobile
