JOB SUMMARYThe Clinical Laboratory Technician/Medical Laboratory Technician independently performs routine and special diagnostic procedures on blood and other body fluids from patients of all age groups served by SPH. The position routinely performs waived, moderate and high complexity testing (with an Associates degree).
KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCEOne-year experience as a generalist clinical laboratory technician in a hospital setting preferred.
EDUCATIONAssociate degree in Medical Technology or equivalent preferred.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRYCertification by ASCP, AMT, or equivalent required.
