Montana Society has Accounting Supervisor

The Accounting Supervisor serves as the agency’s Fiscal Officer and leads the planning and administration of the Montana Historical Society’s (MTHS) budgeting, fiscal operations, accounts processing, grants, loans and other program functions. The Accounting Supervisor develops the agency budget with the Administrator and maintains and monitors the budget using knowledge of concepts and theories of budgeting, internal and state budgetary processes, and has programmatic and fiscal understanding of federal and state programs.

• Lead budgeting planning and administration for MTHS as the agency’s Fiscal Officer; oversee budgeting, fiscal operations, accounts processing, grants, loans and related program functions.
• Develop and monitor the agency budget with the Administrator, applying concepts and theories of budgeting and knowledge of internal and state budgetary processes.
• Apply programmatic and fiscal understanding of federal and state programs to agency operations.
