AboutThe Role
As part of the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO), this position is a strategic partner that collaborates with business owners to deliver value for customers and employees by facilitating consistent delivery of projects. The Project Manager II role manages all aspects of medium to large size projects according to deadlines and within budget, coordinating with team members and third-party contractors. The role adheres to EPMO methodologies and best practices through all project phases, and maintains accountability for scope, budget, and schedule while guiding sponsors and teams to informed decisions.
This is a corporate position that may be located at an available bank division location across our nine-state footprint (AZ, CO, , MT, NV, TX, UT, WA, WY). The mid pay for this position is $93,847.03 per year (Kalispell, MT). All compensation offers are evaluated based on location, experience, and education. WA Applicants range: $86,887.59 to $ per year.
Project Execution: Apply project management methodologies and control techniques throughout the project lifecycle. Lead cross-functional meetings, provide steady leadership, and build relationships with stakeholders. Communicate with the sponsor to share goals, objectives, and potential outcomes. Negotiate with stakeholders to drive on-time, on-budget delivery. Maintain project documentation (budget, schedule, decision log) and manage risks and issues. Follow scope-change procedures and guide stakeholders through system selection processes (requirements definition, RFI, RFP, demos, vendor due diligence, solution evaluation).
Document all project decisions during vendor selection.Project Planning: Develop and maintain detailed project plans (scope, requirements, success criteria, dependencies), budgets, and schedules in collaboration with sponsors and stakeholders. Identify resources, assess risks, and prepare contingency plans. Obtain sponsor sign-off on planning documentation where required.
Project Closure: Finalize schedule and budget, ensure all requirements are met, and transition from project to daily operations with functional areas. Document lessons learned for post-implementation review.
Governance: Adhere to governance, security, and risk management practices. Comply with all company policies, procedures, and applicable laws including the Bank Secrecy Act, Patriot Act, and Office of Foreign Assets Control. Complete assigned online training courses and achieve a passing score by the due date.
